Considering the legal environment since1989 relativelyfavorable to the protection of the artistic production the organizers registered their actions within the framework of a cultural cooperative.The co-operative The Companions of Nedjma is only the natural prolongation of the troop taking again themessageas well DEBZA as of Si Amar. Si Amar being the pseudonym of KATEB YACINE whose work constitutes the crucible of the inspiration of the group. The current organization is articulated around various workshops which on the functional level sound interdependent.

Reflexion and research workshop : Whose mission consists has to prepare topics of debates around the world cultural inheritance for its adaptation to the theatrical set of themes of the group. The recourse to the contribution of external elements allows the enrichment of the group as regards formation.

Workshop of Artistic formation : The principal action of this workshop consists with the training of young people in the field of arts taking into account the atavisms developed by the company with regard to the cultural activity. This compartment constitute a pole of synergy of the various experiments initiation and formation in the fields such as the choreography, the plastic, the decoration and the music.The launching of a theatre company knew concerts results.
The theatrical troop "The companions of Nedjma" has organized in co-operative of the same name, that the troop was creates by notarial act in July 23rd,1996 in the locality of Sétif (high plates) distant to 300 km of the capital Algiers where the majority of the elements founders live there. This new organization was made necessary because of the limits known associative character in Algeria. The co-operative form has recently made its appearance in the cultural environment of Algeria.
Nevertheless, the founding members activated formerly in various cultural organizations and troops of dramatic arts. If during the eighties years, they were among the organizers of the cultural movement at the university of Algiers or they produced several spectacles and two cassettes of songs, they had continued to fight in structures, which taking into account the absence of clear policy were pledged as well with regard to their step as the contents of their representations, at the local proper authorities this state has quickly created disfunctions within associations which activated the members in question.
It is clear that the co-operatives have regard to their free operating mode do not profit from the bottom of assistance of the wilaya under the form of subsidy, This widened the field of the theatrical prospection but narrowed with adequate proportions the material means. Nevertheless, the need for organizing themselves differently allowed the multiplication of the interventions in the cultural field particularly in producing co-product spectacles in various fields tending to promote the theatrical activity and for as well diffusing them at the national level as international. In spite of the absence of any assistance and in particular the subsidy only allocated with associations. At this title, the cooperative has produced three spectacles « The Accused », « The Game » and « The Strayer », that they are diffusing in Algeria as well International, also the co-operative has co-product with the theatre puzzle « The Round of Beggars » with text and a scenography of the founder members of the co-operative as well as various events such as « The Public Readings » and event the « Black on White (ACT III) ».
